    PX22 by American Arms...new 2 me

Been looking for IJ PT22... a fellow cal-Guns member came thru with a American Arms PX22 , steel frame and metal trigger guard , in the box , very good shape also. (thanks Dan)
picked it up yesterday and walk right over to the indoor range in EG..

what a blast to shoot , and has a real muzzle blast to it !

    tried CCI mini mags 1240fps
    WW solids at 1300fps
    CCI Velocitor's at 1435fps
    Rem GB's .... no go !

really liked the Velocitors , even when dirty they worked , any one try CCI stingers in one of these ?
nice little pocket blaster (for a 22lr)

question on parts.... will the Iver Johnson TP22 interchange parts ?

Bought one of those from Turners back in the 90's for less than $200.00 brand new.

Those guns will only run on +P .22 ammo. If you try to run standard .22lr, it becomes a jam 'o' matic.

By the way, be very careful if you ever decided to load a mag and try to cycle rounds through it. I had just super cleaned it trying to solve the jamming problem, and I foolishly decided to load a mag and cycle rounds to see where the hang up might be. I let the slide go forward, and bang. Finger was not even inside the trigger guard. I sold it to a pawn shop that afternoon. Luckily nothing got hurt but my ears.

Not sure about the Iver parts

A happy buyer. It really is a nifty little gun.
