    Interarms Walther PPK/s 22 lr

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this version of the PPK.
I have been looking for one for a long time and faith/cash finally brought us together. It comes with the original box and seems like from the 80's.
    What do you guys think?

I was traded one in a multi-gun swap. It was a used one built the 80's and it was a jam-o-matic. It turned me off trying another rim fire semiauto pistol for years until I got a Ruger mkii 22/45 which shot every brand without jams all day long.
Try different ammos and see if there's one it likes maybe CCI minimags.

The gun is likely a Manurhin made PPK/S showing French proof marks (St. Etienne; 'Made under licence of...'), probably made around 1980.

It will likely run fine on CCI ammo. But others may be finicky. Did you buy it?

Pics kinda hard to tell but get a better pic with better lighting and can tell more.

Classic Firearms has them now. They look great. But not on roster. So have a good cry....

Walther 5030320: The PPK/S .22 is identical to its PPK/S 380 brother, but you can shoot 22LR rimfire ammo for pennies a shot and recoil is minimal. PPK/S is the 1968 "Sport" version with longer grip, based on the legendary 1931 design. The top strap is cut with a wave to reduce glare and rear slide serrations make for non-slip grip and classic Walther styling. The internal slide stop reduces external snags. It has fixed steel sights and classic Walther checkered grip panels. The double action trigger of the PPK/S 22 has a 17.5 lb. pull while the single action has a 6.6 lb. pull. The beaver tail and magazine finger extensions improve shooting comfort. The PPK/S .22 is great for the whole family, a quality firearm to someday pass it on to the next generation. This model has black polymer grips with a nickel finish.

I bought one new in 1990.. the Interarms TPH.. solid stainless but like it's big .380 stainless brother it would consistently stovepipe or ftf.. sold the TPH on commission at Annie's Get Your Gun in Corona for $350 and sold the .380 here in Utah at a KMart parking lot.

I have a PP in .22lr with West Germany markings I bought new in the 70's for 600 bucks. Only shot it a few times.

I don't understand why they would make a PPK/s instead of a PPK since it's USA made. No import restrictions.

I've had a Walther PP in 22lr for decades---very reliable pistol with most any 22lr high velocity ammo---I tend to shoot CCI Mini Mags thru this pistol with 100% reliability... Mine was proofed in 1969.

I bought one of the first four stainless Walther TPH pistols that arrived at B&B Sales in N. Hollywood in the mid-80s. Pistol actually functioned pretty well with most good high velocity 22 ammo---REALLY liked CCI Stingers (surprise!)---carried it in my back pocket for many years as a backup to my holstered Browning 9mm Hi Power during my years of managing gun stores. My wife took a liking to the little TPH, and one day a used, but mint TPH wandered into the store and I bought it as well---it also ran 100% with CCI Stingers! I still have both little pistols...

Mine works well with CCI Minimags 40 grain or 36 grain but afraid to try the Stingers.Paid $700 for mine used. Now I think I want a PPk in .22lr too.
