    10/22 stock question

Is this stock any good? I really like the look of it.

Feel free to suggest other stocks that you think are good. I just don't want to spend more that probably $150.

The stock looks fine I am sure it is of good quality. Are you going to mount a scope? This stock looks more for iron sights. Also are you going to change the barrel later? Most aftermarket barrels are .920" this stock is for standard tapered barrels. Look for the FA Enterprises stock for around 150.00.

I do plan on getting an aftermarket barrel. I know they have to be .920" but apparently I just didn't pay attention in relation to this stock. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

I really like my Hogue overmolded stock. Very grippy, and looks nice. Not very expensive either. Its "normal" looking, if that is a concern. I know there are some very unusual looking 10/22 stocks out there.

+1 on hogue overmold. solid. if you do go w/ the ramline, i usually see them combined w/ a .920 barrel for $100-120. i see that actual stock going for about $50-55.
