Hey all,
I purchased a stripped Brownell's BRN-22 with intentions of building up a rifle for Appleseed.
The plan was to put on iron sights that could be easily removed if I felt like putting on some kind of optics. I would use the railed Tech Sights for the rear and a NDS bull barrel sight at the front, that way I can just loosen the set screws and remove the front sight rather than deal with the adhesive required to hold on the Tech Sight bull barrel adapter.
So I figured the receiver with the integrated rail option would be best.
It turns out I was wrong.
The integrated rail is a pretty standard picatinny rail, and as such the Tech Sights I purchased will not fit, as they are made for a 3/8" dovetail.
Oops.
After doing some searching for rear sights, I seem to only find rear sights that are far too high for my purposes, mainly made for the AR platform. All the other sights that are low seem to be for a 3/8" dovetail.
Are there any recommended low profile aperture sights similar to Tech Sights that fit to a standard picatinny rail?
Thanks for reading,
