    1956 Ruger Single Six Flatgate

I am jealous of my 90 year old neighbor.

She asked me to do a quick clean on this beauty.
Just a bit of holster wear at the muzzle, faint turn ring.

I like my Single Ten, but this just has a more authentic feel to it.

    Enjoy.

Give her a Wrangler back, and say it was REALLY dirty, but all better now, that's why it feels a little different.

Well, I did offer to clean/oil it in a year or so......

That's it! You hit the nail on the head. You can definitely feel the difference between the Old Model and the New Model (and the New Model is nothing to sneeze at). Those are some unique grips as well. Prominent Ruger emblem. Nice bluing.

Thanks for sharing. I can never see enough classic Ruger revolvers. Three screws get me excited!

          Very Nice Flatgate.
Heck those grips are worth more then the pistol sold for Originally.

Make sure she knows your interest if it were to come up for sale.
Heck put your contact information in the package when you return it.

Advise her of the recall Ruger has to convert "unsafe" old models and offer her your single 10 in trade - transfer bar and more shots.

Let's do our best to preserve the last remaining "Annie Oakley's" of the world.

90 years old!? Geesh....we should all be so lucky.
