Do you plan to change the barrel on a Ruger MKII yourself?
It is best to send your current unit to the barrel maker/gunsmith and have it changed. Its not a kitchen table project. This is why you don't see barrels everywhere like the 10/22 deal. You will need a lathe and some action wrenches plus a big barrel vise to change the barrel. Tools cost more than the gun. I already had the lathe. Ask me how I know.
