Lever action recommendations Henry vs Winchester?

I realize the Henry is probably most recommended but I've seen friends using old Winchester Lever Action and tube fed.
Can someone recommend something to search for on the used market?

    SPECifally 22LR only please.. THanks,

Models and Manufactured and good price range?

I’ve owned both, still have the Winchester 94 AE in 30-30.

Henry makes a very good quality product, but I just didn’t care for the tube feed.

    Marlin is another option too.

If you are looking for something different than a Winchester or Henry:

        Levermatics -

        Marlin 56 (or Sears 46C) - $300 - $600,

        Marlin 57 - $500 - $700

Sometime you can buy two for the price of a Winchester

        Other Marlin lever-gun - Marlin 39A - $550 - $950

        For tube fed:

        Winchester 61 or 62A, Rossi 62A

        etc, etc, etc

Marlin 39A is another excellent choice. And there are plenty used ones in great shape.

Browning BL22 is a great lever gun in .22. I have heard good things about Henry but my Browning is awesome!

No you didn't, you did specify 22 lr in your original post.

                          I have a Winchester 9422. It's in a different league than a Henry.

I have both and the Winchester is made way better then the Henry. Your looking at close to 1k for a nice used winchester 94/22. The Marlin 39s have seem to come down in price a little bit. You might want to look at the Marlins
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
