So I didn't need another 10-22, since I already had two, but a Calgunner was offering a good one for $195 so I couldn't pass it up. After buying it, I was wondering what to do with it and remembered I had a no-name, cheap 3-9 scope that I had bought on eBay, thinking I would attach it to one of my other rifles. So I bought a $10 scope base for the 10-22 on eBay, attached it and the scope yesterday and went to the range today. Had a lot of trouble sighting it until, after an hour and 100 rounds of frustration, realized that the adjustment instructions that came with the scope were 180 degrees wrong on both elevation and windage. Once I was turning the knobs in the correct direction I got it dialed in and was soon shooting one-inch 25-yard groups and wishing I had brought one of my 25-round mags to the range. Total cost under $250. Fun factor: priceless.

I can't complain about this 10/22 accuracy. And once I found which ammo it really liked even better. Try some subsonic in yours and see if groups get even better. While its been about 12 years ago, I put it together for $250. Basic carbine $109 on sale, added to a centerfire DROS. Target Stock/Bull Barrel combo kit $109 online sale. $25 Tasco Scope and good to go with stock trigger. Can't go wrong with a 10/22 in your collection.
