Fun 10/22 range day cut short

Then these beautiful/annoying creatures came along.


We ended up packing up because a.) it's both illegal and unethical to shoot wildlife on the range, and b.) I didn't want to harm one by accident. Oh well, it was loads of fun and I feel more competent with my .22.

It's fun shooting 22lr @ longer ranges. W&E actually comes into play for a change. Well done OP!
Surprised the deer were doing a walk thru during live fire. They sure need a healthy fear of humans.
If this happens again bring an air horn in a can. Do them a favor and scare the crap out of them.

They graze cattle at the Coalinga Rifle Club and more than once we had to heard them away while shooting 50BMG's. They knew we won't shoot them and they where use to gun fire.
