Custom Anschutz Bolt knob

I got bored at the shop the other day watching the machinist work so I drew
up a bolt knob for my 1502D and this is what I ended up with when he
finished after it was anodized. I ran a few extra for some friends and had
some left over. I like it the more I use it. Sure beats the little plastic ball it
came with.

Anschutz bolt knobs are threaded on.

That really looks nice.

However, my Anschutz 1413 bolt works well enough for my purposes. And I wouldn't think of changing it. However, if I had a model like yours, I think it would be pretty cool to have a larger bolt knob.

And...Anschutz bolts do not have a threaded handle, at least the ones that I have used (perhaps the cheaper (maybe "less expensive" would be a better term) versions do.

Even the 54's have 'em nowadays. They started showing up on 64's and 54's around 2001-2003. Anschutz calls them the "Target Knob". They are very easy to see, as they are somewhat larger than the knobs on the one-piece bolts, and are for the most part, plastic.
