Went to range today with my newly acquired, newly legal 25-round Ruger 10-22 banana mags. Such a pleasure not to have to reload after every 10 rounds but I sure burned up ammo fast. 200 rounds in about 30 mins.

Indeed it is a unique and wonderful new feeling. My first range trip with 25 round S&W 15-22 freedom magazines "caused" me to shoot 409 rounds. The only thing that kept me from shooting the full brick was that the range closed!

Definitely get one of those Butler Creek crank loaders... they make the reloading of 3-4 25's pretty fast, then try to shoot through two bricks.
