Hello all, I heard that there were some changes to the Bullet Button law. How would this affect those people who have Pistols with magwells outside of the pistol grip?

Would it be possible for me to make it CA compliant before entering CA?

Because the magazine is located outside of the pistol's grip...

In order to be CA legal, it needs a fixed 10 round magazine that is contained in the firearm and that can not be removed without disassembling the firearm's action or that is permanently attached in the firearm's magazine well.

Since there is no current magazine locking device for the Kel-Te PLR-16/22 that would prevent the magazine from being removed without disassembling the firearm's action, you would need to permanently attach (weld/epoxy/pin) a 10 round magazine into the magazine well, in order to make it a CA legal pistol.
