What barrel for my 10/22 ???

I've got a plain jane 10/22 carbine that I'm thinking about putting in one of those RB Precision Evolution stocks.

I'm thinking I'd like the generation 1 stock system with an A2 buttstock and a VFG. Really, that would be enough. But to complete the look I'd like to get a bull barrel, maybe stainless, maybe fluted.

I'm on a budget, and its for plinking, so I don't need a crazy target barrel. I'm admittedly just out for good looks.

    What should I get ?!

I really like my Green Mountain 18 inch fluted stainless barrel with fire sights. I highly recomend it.

I have the 20" Green Mountain Blue Bull and an 18" Stainless Fluted Bull. Can't go wrong with either one. The 20" is a heavy match barrel - and I mean HEAVY! But, it's super accurate. The fluted stainless is much lighter and way prettier, but I haven't installed it, yet. Maybe next week. I would be a little concerned with the weight of your barrel, even if it's just for plinking. It can get tiring holding it after awhile. Next thing you know, you'll have a bipod on it just support the weight! I have a variable scope on mine - I don't have sights on my bull barrels.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

Another vote for Green Mountain. They are a good value.
