Beretta 948 Ammo?

Just picked up a Beretta 948 (and had the pleasure of paying out the nose for a spare factory magazine on eBay) in great shape. Does anyone know if these can digest HV ammo safely? (I have quite a stash of Federal Automatch that would be nice to feed through this gun.)

I had several of those in the past and they seemed strong--I shot W-W 37 grain hollowpoints in them with no issues. Can't remember if I shot Stingers--this may have been before Stingers were available.

Thanks for the info! If your 948 digested those with no problem, then I think 40 grain Automatch should be good to go in my pistol. Just wanted to hear some input before I use it.
