Advantage arms glock trigger

Just arrived in the mail today, did a few dry fires (i know you're not supposed to) to test out the trigger. It felt not as nice as my stock g19 trigger.

Anyone do a trigger job on theirs?

on their what? glock? yeah i have bought most glock triggers that were well reviewed. that being said i have never heard of the advantage arms glock trigger.

Cant answer your question but buy the little screw anchors. I use them for snaps caps so I can dry fire all day my 22s 100 for like 3 bucks

Sorry, wasn't clear. I bought the aadvantage arms 22lr conversion kit for my glock 19. The trigger with the conversion installed is rough. Anyone do a trigger job on their 22 conversion?

Wait it should use the same trigger that's already on the glock. The slide is the only thing changing right?

I'm not familiar with glocks but my other conversions feel the same pull.

The slide and different magazines are the only hardware that changes. The stock g19 trigger touches the slide at the firing pin safety and the firing pin; i'm assuming that's where the grit is coming from.

The pull weight was relatively consistent on my trigger gauge @ 6.75 lbs plus or minus 0.25. But the smoothness of the pull is very different

It feels about the same to me, but maybe yours is dirty?

It does feel different, I always chalked it up to the extractor and the overall design difference. It's a straight blowback and rather linear.

I just put my 17-22 AA on a Vicker's RTF2 G17 that is pretty new as far as round count... the AA installed feels smoother and lighter than the G17 slide. Both feel great. Trigger pull and trigger reset on the G17 have just a little more spring. AA slide pull like I said, butter smooth... lighter.

Maybe shoot it 5k before modding it to fix it.

The USB might need to be polished/cleaned, and the spring weight adjusted, to make the trigger work as well.

Also, the striker 'leg' that creates the sear surface that touches the connector crucifix may not be as smooth as well.

I carefully polished mine, to maintain smoothness.

Thanks. Did you notice a difference after the work?

Also, i tried to put aftermarket sights on. Seems like the front sight hole and rear sight dovetail notch are really small. Like out of spec small and only work with the stock sights. Anyone else notice this?

I didn't actually even try it before polishing the USB. I just did the polishing job before I got into it. So, I didn't measure/feel a 'before' to compare.

As for sights, I only replaced one front sight- and I think it was from Dawson's Precision, for Glock. Different height, to correct POI/POA discrepencies.

I don't recall any issues though.

The only trigger work I did on mine was a apex flat trigger and a TTI spring kit and connector. It’s on my 34 and I use my advantage arms kit on it every now and then. Can’t complain and can’t beat it for less than $100 in parts.
