    Mounting rail crooked10/22

Hello everyone, i just got a 10/22 and just now noticed that the mounting rail on my 10/22 is not on straight.

Typical new Ruger quality control. Contact their service department and they'll fix it (insist they send you a prepaid label for shipping). Sounds like the receiver was mis drilled so if they replace the receiver it'll have a new serial number and will have to be reDROSed to you with a 10 day wait.

Yes, they are tightened all the way down.

I tried untightenting and seeing if it would straighten up at all, but no go...

            Need pictures.
            - The rail is not straight
            - Or they drill the mounting holes not straight

              Factory rail?

Have you removed the rail, sight down the barrel and take a look at the relationship to the mounting screw holes?
