    My 10/22 Build

    Parts:
Complete Ruger receiver group from S&P Outfitters
Green Mountain 20" std taper profile barrel
    Brimstone Tier 3 trigger job
    Ruger Design Contest stock
BSA Sweet 22 scope on a Monstrum rail and Leupold rings

This all went together like butter. The GM barrel needed a little coaxing the last 1/4", but I was still able to give it a little twist to line it up perfect. Needed to do some sanding on the sides of the barrel channel to float the barrel, and I left the stock pressure point up front. The screws for the rail were just "this much" too long, and it's a good thing it came with 5 screws because the 1st one disappeared on the first touch of the dremel. This Brimstone reworked trigger is amazing! Came in at 1lb 14oz and beats the holy s**t out of the BX.

I was very happy with the first outing to an indoor 12 yd range and looked forward to the out door experience. Target:

I finally got out to the outdoor range yesterday and shot 25 and 50 yds with this thing and the happiness with this build continues. A note on the 50 yd target, the contrast between the X hairs and target was way better with the yellow square than the red, hence the better group in the yellow.

Those triggers are amazing. 2 of my 10-22’s and 2 mini’s have their trigger work

                Conrats. Looks like fun!

It is fun to build them- even if we don't break even if/when we sell.

Mine was Ruger Receiver and Ruger Hammer Forged bull barrel, on magpul stock, with kidd bolt/handle/rod and kidd stage 1 trigger, with Simmons 4-12 AO scope.

It is MUCH better than I can shoot- but fun!
Where did all the range-time go?
