I use 15 22 magazines and a better mag adapter. Works great

The .22LR AR15 conversion magazines are generally universal.
^Ciener, CMMG, Blackdog Magazines.

The Umarex/Colt/H&K M4/HK416 .22LR magazines are proprietary and do not work with .22LR AR15 conversions, unless an adaptor is utilized.

The S&W M&P15/22 .22LR magazines are proprietary and do not work with .22LR AR15 conversions, unless an adaptor is utilized.

I've had good luck with Black Dog mags.

There's "Black Dog." And there's, "other." Which means, "lesser."


I have 4 of them, and as my AR-22lr is a trainer, 4 are enough for me. But then, I ALSO live in AMERICA, and have over 300 (at last count, a few years ago) 30rd. 5.56 mags as well.
