So why Tech Sights over a scope?
PS- There is a new set of Tech Sights for a 10/22 on eBay for $44 plus $5 shipping, at present. You can find them a bit cheaper after all. Just have to find the right ones from the right seller.

Tell me about it. I'm placing an order tomorrow morning. In fact, I'm getting them for the 795 and the SKS.

Anathema for the purist collectors but I'm a pure shooter. I will give em a shot. I know husband and wife teams that shoot very well with the SKS / Tech Sights past 200 yds without any specialized training. I expect to confirm that.

    RBA

ps. Per used sights for the 795: I can't imagine anyone parting with them for less than what they paid. But, anything's possible.

Used the fishing line tied to brass weight and pulled it through- what a tough b***h to get through; it was snug to say the least.

Used; otherwise, full price is all there is.

That sounds like a definite improvement!!

No deformations or weird spots on it. It gets halfway down the barrel, holding the rifle muzzle pointing down and feeding from the chamber. It is the most confusing d@mn thing...
