That's the problem. The ads are different depending on where you live. Doesn't apply here in SoCal.

They also have a 25.00 gift card for purchases over 100.00, but not sure if firearms in that..Hmmm will go read the add again real quick

here is the cash card link..I see no mention of firearms or ammo...so this would make it a 74.99 gun

look to be good fron 8-8-10 to 8-14-10

    Burn!!!

I broke in my 795 with CCI's after having issues with cheap ammo. Since then all ammo seems to work ok. A few failures with cheap stuff now and then, never had one with CCI's.

My sights are dead on but I can't wait to get the Tech Sights. Just hard to spend almost as much as the rifle to get. Also now that I'm getting used to it I think I will be adding some weight, not too much but because my 60 feels almost too heavy now, lol.
The Tech Sights are sooooo worth it. Great sights.

This happened on all 4 of my mags and every time. This is with 10 rounds in the magazine. So I thought that maybe the spring in the mag is too tight or something. So I load each mag with three rounds and it works right but more than 3 and i get jams. I researched a little bit but didn't find much other than do a thorough cleaning. Has anyone had a similar problem, mind this is a brand new gun.
That sounds very rare, and I'm sure frustrating. Try cleaning and lubricating your rifle and shoot it again. Maybe try different ammo. Mini mag is good ammo...maybe too good for the 795. Mine loves the bulk packs of Federal and Winchester. Have not had a single failure of any kind yet on mostly cheep ammo (approx. 800 rds). I keep it clean and put a few drops of Remoil or Hoppes lubricant on the action.

    Good Luck.

It was originally supposed to be out back in March. It was mentioned in a post on page 9 of this thread (post 358) back in '09.

That's why I hate "one-gun" threads. Things get buried and repeated. <-

Midway's website also said was supposed to have it coming in March so I set up an e-mail alert for when it was in-stock. They have since removed that part of the listing.
