    .22 scope question.

so i have a marlin 925r.(pictured below) Right now it has some walmart scope on it with crap mounts. The scope works but im not really happy with it.

So my question is, What is the best scope/ring setup that 100 dollars can buy for this gun? Im willing to go over that amount of money but it has to be REALLY worth it.

I have one of the BSA brand scopes on my Ruger 77/22, think it is a 6-18x40 with target turrets and sunshade/mil dot reticle....got it for a touch over a hundred bucks and have been really happy with it.

Can't help ya with the rings though as the Ruger comes with its own style

        Take my advice

Get anything you can affford with an adjustable objective. That will help with clarity at any range you shoot. I have a Simmons WhiteTail Classic that I bought for 99 bucks, but they are a little more now. get some weaver QD rings, and you're good to go.

BTW, i have this setup mounted on a 10/22 I built. It'll shave a squirrel's nuts at 50 yards, and I'm not talking about the ones that they get from trees

Mueller APV (a tad over your budget) but you won't regret it.
