    NAA Provo Utah Mini .22lr

I know a lot of people consider this a toy.. Or they think you will shoot yourself with it. Like any other gun if you're careful.. you won't..
So small you can hide it anywhere, always. I do.

Interesting study on penetration with different ammo..

Take it with a grain of salt.

I've got one, the 1 1/8" magnum/lr version. It goes many places with me.

Good video, those little pistols are crazy. It seems like they have been around for ever.

      Thanks OP

Fired a .22 Magnum derringer once. That mofoe is LOUD!

The last handgun I bought was one of those in .22 mag - have not shot it yet.

Way more expensive to shoot and larger than the .22 LR in the video but I liked the size more than the .22 LR version and it helped that I got 650 rounds of v-max for $90.

Quality little guns, neat action... slow reloading where the cylinder comes off and empties get pushed out. Cool nonetheless. They can have all cylinders loaded and the hammer can be set decocked in-between chambers so it is not resting on a cartridge rim.

I just bought a 1 1/8th" .22lr NAA Mini Revolver. After 100 rounds of standard velocity .22lr, it's broken. The hammer will not cock back and it immediately releases forward. It's currently in the mail back to NAA. We will see how it unfolds.

The above video is great. I have a wide collection of .22LR ammo and luckily for me, much of it is the 36gr Minimags

Let us know how it unfolds with NAA.
Anyone try this method of loading the cylinder?

Finally watched the whole video. That's interesting about the Choot 'ems (CCI MINI-MAG 36 grain HP)... I think I have 9k rounds in those 375 choot 'ems. Don't have the .22 LR NAA though.

Personally I don't think that's the type of last-ditch Defense weapon that quickly loads are super important, in most cases.

And if that really concerned you for a bunch more money they also make a swing out cylinder version...

And my favorite the old top break style of old western revolvers, like the Schofield revolver and so many others, they called the Ranger 2 ...

Anyone know what happened to the NAA Ranger II? It was a top break version that they showed off at Shot this year. That was something I was looking forward to but I haven't seen any for sale yet.

I need to visit the factory.. It's 50 minutes south from me on I 15. I just wanted the smallest as in the original video.. So easy to carry with no holster. .. Otherwise I prefer my S&W model 60-7 or Kimber Micro Carry .380.. Both OWB with an untucked shirt.

Bought mine 25+ years ago at Reed's sport shop when they were still located in San Jose. 5 shot .22LR 1-1/16" barrel made in Spanish Fork, Utah and at that time you could buy a functional western style belt buckle that would mount the pistol as in open carry!
It's one of five on my CCW permit.
Photos are of size comparison to my 6" B STS Python and the NAA belt buckle option (not mine).

Love mine. They also make a very cool belt buckle holder for it. Wear that in AZ.
