the barrel won't be the only thing you will need to change....but you can mod a 10/22 for 17hmr

You need a 10/22 Magnum receiver, not a regular 10/22 version. The 10/22 Magnum receiver handles the longer cartridge and has a heavier bolt to handle the additional recoil.

Ive seen kits for sale that will convert them. Do a google search and something should pop up.

I believe you can convert to .17M2, but I think you would need a .22 WMR receiver to get the .17 HMR conversion to work.

Do you mean 10/22 magnum or magazine? Magnum...yes, with a new barrel and bolt handle/spring I believe. If your referring to the actual magazine...no. THe 17 mach 2 will work in a standard 10/22 with the same improvements.
