That seems like a real weakness to me. You can't insert a cartridge into the open chamber, close it, and fire it, if you leave the mag inserted? Weird

I love it, got mine a few weeks ago and have shot about 350rds through it without a problem except a couple possible duds. Still debating whether to put a cheap optic on it, but probably will change out the stock to folding or collapsible. There's so many mods out there it's great!

i had to modify my side folder stock to achieve 26 inches ,went to lowes and bought a 1.5 diametor x 1 inch thick rubber gromet and works great.

got a pic of this mod? Id like to see/bite your idea!

I want to see this also. My first choice for a replacement stock was a side folder but it was just a tad to short. The collapsing stock I went with is good but almost everyone has them, I'd like mine to look a little different.

Before you buy it, that stock is NOT legal in California (without a special exception/permit/registration/stamp). It makes the overall length 25.25" (.75" short of the 26" legal minimum for rimfire rifles).

can you mod the release to work like a 10/22 that has the bolt release reworked to work like say a Mini 14?

ok good thing i asked then, i guess ill just leave the stock one on or get the collapsable that everyone else has. unless i can figure out a way to make that work
