    Cheap 10/22s in Bay Area?

The cheapest 10/22 I can find in the Bay Area is the compact for $199 at Sportsman's warehouse. Since I'll probably put a Magpul on it, I'm not terribly worried about the LOP, and I assume all other mods will work fine on this.

It seems like, as usual, the Bay Area is more expensive than anywhere else...

I haven't, come to think of it. I don't even know which ones in my area (San Jose) have decent selections of guns...

I searched around my area when I had some time. Talked to a few owners and would I ld check every few months. Found my Ruger mark II & a Marlin 60 this way at the lowest price. You never know when someone will hock/sell what you are looking for.

I haven't priced a 10/22 in a while but I would think anything <$200 would be more than reasonable for a new one.

I have a running list in my head of things im looking for in pawn shops, reasonable things, things they should have basically as STAPLES. I have never once in my life ever found anything and made a deal in any pawn shop, and ive looked plenty. This contrasts with a buddy who every single time he just gets within 500ft of a pawn shop, all kinds of items he wants just leap right out at him. Its uncanny!

Haven't seen a Bay Area pawn shop in decades? Can you recommend a couple.
