    Anschutz?

I am seeing different designations on the Anschutz posts.

    I just purchased a 54 MS. What are the 54 30's?

    Mine is from 1987
    Remington 700 .308
    B&C Medalist #2, Harris Bipod
Timney 517 trigger, AICS Bottom Metal/Magazine

Let's talk about match grade ammo for this little lady.

I can find the Eley Target, but nothing else that is recommended for her. Online yes, but... you know what that means.

          I live in Sacramento area.

Eley, lapus, Wolf, RWS, SK all have 4-5 grades of match ammo....Tick is to find the one that your rifle likes. It may not be the most expensive ones...all you can do is try and see.

Find others in your area or range that shoot and trade or buy for a box of different stuff until you find the "one".

Sportsman's Warehouse had a few match offering the last time I was there.

I now have 4 different boxes of RWS - Rifle Target, Rifle Match (older), Rifle Match (newer) High Velocity HP, one of Eley - Target (can't find any others here in Sacramento), Aguila Rifle Match, CCI minimag, CCI Blazer, Remington Thunderbolt, Federal Premium Target, Federal Premium HV Match, and of course the Bucket O Bullets.

              We'll see what she likes.

They talk about it being more accurate but I doubt that means anything at levels lower than olympic finals.

                    I went with a 1913 in a BR stock for a smallbore f-class rifle.

I've been shooting Center-X in mine and I'm afraid the damn gun is good enough that I really need to buy the very best ammo to get maximum results - Tenex or Midas or ???
