Thoughts on TC R22?

Hey guys,
I have been eyeing the TCR 22 since they first came out. I want one, but I already have a 10/22 carbine.

Well, I have a freind who wants to get into shooting. I have taken her shooting hanguns and trap shooting and they love it. Also they have an interest in hunting. I think the 10/22 is a good first gun for her. I was thinking of selling my 10/22 to her, and one of my locking plano hard cases. That would free up my safe for the TCR. . .

But is all this worth it? Is there improved accuracy over the 10/22? Is it reliable? And it accepts standard 10/22 mags, right? I was considering putting a magpul stock on my 10/22 and a bull barrel, but that alone is approaching the cost of the TCR.

And, not to mention, this person is a bleeding heart liberal. Could the 10/22 convert her?

If a liberal like gun, go it. Convert one at a time.

I have no experience with the T/C. It looks like a good 22lr. However if you like modifying your gun, may be build one from stretch. BTW Brownells sells 10/22 receiver cheap. They have combo receiver and bull barrel.
