I was reading about a rimfire scout rifle yesterday. -- a 22LR (also 17HMR). Now that sounds nice! (and I have just the Burris scope to use with it).

I really like this concept for .22lr/Magnum rifles. Keeps them light and the low magnification makes it easier to make quick, off-hand shots on rabbits and squirrels.
