I was in the same situation. I was going to post one for $700 but I sold it to a buddy of mine for $600. What's the condition of it and how many rounds through the pipe?

Off roster and in demand. Offer is low. If gun is in good shape, $700 is not unreasonable. Round count on these guns is really not a consideration.

List in marketplace and see what happens. No takers at $700, then I'm wrong.

        A guy? 700

        A friend: 650

        500 is low in CA.

It really depends on the exact model.

“Slab slide” meaning that there are flats on the barrel? If that barrel is untaperd had has those flats it sounds like a “Competition” model which was priced higher than the other models. That model also have a pair of wood stocks, checkered stocks w/ a thumb rest. The top of the barrel should be machined for a pair of Ruger scope rings which should also be included.

If you can confirm if it is a “Competition” model, 500 is a very fair price. If it was a MKII, it would be even more in demand.

**** Sorry OP, thought you were purchasing one. Ask for $700 and work from there

It didn't com with rings, but it came with a rail. It did come with cocobolo grips w/thumb rest. I still have them though I've never used them. Yes, the barrel is flat on the side. No taper.

I've had thousands of rounds through it.

I believe that to be a KMK678GC. $500 in Free America or 2004. (see GunBroker)

                  More in California.

                    You'll get $700 for it easy. Maybe even $750 - $775 depending.

He low-balled you at $500 hoping to get a deal.

Take it, if you don't then I will .

                      - For 22 shooters or bull-eye shooters $500 is a bargain.
                      - For big bore shooters, those guys never pay more than $250 for any .22LR pistol , because they don't want it or they don't care and GSG 1911 .22LR NIB price around $250.

Kappy I paid over $500 for my hunter mk 3 model at sportman's warehouse years ago. Now off roster. Good to see you posting again.

I would agree with $700-ish ballpark. How good a buddy is he? I sold a 22/45 to a buddy for what I had in it... after it went off roster. He's a pretty good buddy.

I have the competition model as well and would think that $700 would be a fair value (without optics) on it as well, especially here in CA. I ended up putting a Burris FF III on it and it's a great shooter.

BTW - mine did not come with scope rings either but it was drilled and tapped for a rail. For the FF, I used a Burris mount instead of the rail, which puts it at a much lower profile.
