    Garrow 17HMR upper

Anybody have one? I was thinking of picking up a Savage A17 but I have a lot of AR parts and random lowers sitting around so this "sorta" makes sense....

cool idea but you can pick up an A17 for less than the price of just the upper. If you want to build a rimfire AR in .17 go with the Franklin Armory in .17WSM

These are very nice. Used one this ground squirrel season and connected with regularity. Expect about 2-300 rounds of break in. Love the fact they use the Black Dog magazines, so no magazine well adapter necessary. Recoil is very light due to the DI system. Do not hesitate to get one.

I agree, great upper. Just as accurate as my CZ 455.
