50-150 yards compact spotting scope

I did a forum search without success.

Hoping to get a decent compact spotting scope with a $200-$300 budget.
I mostly shoot targets 50-150 yards (22lr rifles). TIA : )

I worked my up from a Barska zoom ($99) to a Konus zoom ($199) to a Kowa fixed mag ($799).
The fixed magnification has better clarity, but for general purpose a zoom is nice. I use the zoom on lower mag at pistol range and higher mag at rifle range. I prefer one with the angled eye piece and band that allows you to rotate the scope so you don't have to get out of position to look through it after a shot.
For under $200 this Konus would work to see 22 holes at 150 yds.

That is what I use at the range. Not sure about 100-150 yards for rimfire.

The key word is COMPACT. These two are compact in size and in price .
They are compact enough to fit my range bag and "compact" enough not to burn a hole on my credit card.
The small one for indoor, the longer one for outdoor. Since the price is "compact" so the quality is not Luepold's quality, but as long as I can see the .22LR holes then I am happy.
Since the prices are "compact" so READ THE REVIEW BEFORE YOU BUY .

Thank you, I’m checking it out now. We were out in Anza Borrego Spring yesterday baked in 105 degrees. Ran back and forth 100 yards checking the targets, got tired then sent out the drone. Noobie at its finest : )

I shoot 150YDS with my 22 all the time. I often shoot solo. I use the Emarth 20-60x60 spotting scope on amazon. It’s not top of the line in any way but it works very well. It’s $70 when not on sale. And it comes with a tripod so I just dial it in on my paper and start shooting.

I can tell you I had a Bushnell Trophy spotting scope and it was abysmal, so avoid them.

I use a scope on the rifle. I can see the holes clearly. It shoots more accurate too.

I do agree with you here.

Magnification for money, however, a rifle scope will never compete with a spotting scope.

Plus its always fun to have another new toy.
