AR style 22s are a hoot to shoot. S&W, Sig, CZ are are all good choices, but building one is even more rewarding. A stripped AR 15 lower can be built to the exact specs of you 5.56 (sans BB). Nordic 22 uppers are extremely accurate (but expensive).

Probably old news now, but it was nice to walk through the Wal-Mart sporting goods section and see lots of .22lr. available.

And at fair prices no less. It was a knee jerk reaction to buy a 1K brick of Winchester M22 despite having no current need for it. Shoots great in my 15-22.

Thanks. Just ordered a new butt stock, grip, and barrel shroud....... good looking mp! Need to stop looking at other builds.
