NVSA had a Rimfire match, it's now called a tactical steel match and open to centerfire as well due to low turn out. It's the 4th Sunday of the month. You can shoot pistol and /or rifle.

Richmond Hot shots have a few Rim fire matches a year.

Sac Valley has a steel challenge match April through October?? There are rim fire pistol and rifle classes.

Avenal (near Harris Ranch) runs a monthly NRL22 match. Targets are tiny, 2 minutes 10 shoots using various positions. Each station has a different theme, you might have to stack blocks between shots or use different rungs of a ladder every 2 shoots, etc. NRL changes the course of fire every month.

The matches are SUPER friendly, expect to see some serious hardware to your basic 22. It would be good to have a 25yard zero and know your dope to 100.. Last Sunday, we had a couple of guys that had to guess and I am sure that was frustrating to them.

You can also go to the above site and see other areas the matches are held. If your an NRL22 member your score can be tracked, but you do not have to join NRL22 to shoot the match.
