Questions about a savage i just got from someone

So im trying to find info on a savage 64 i just got. It is semi auto in OD green, has a threaded barrel and owner before me stated it included scope rings and a bushnell 3-9x40 scope. I cant find this model anywhere. He said it was an XP tactical but the gun itself does not say XP on it anywhere. Are these a special run series? Ive never owned any 22 rifle before, only .22 revolvers.

It also has what looks to be a compensator or muzzle flash hider on it, i wanted to get pictures of it but turners doesnt allow them. I have to wait to pick it up to get pics.

Nah doesnt have the same back portion of the stock.
Looks more like this but has a more defined muzzle break at the end and is in OD green.

From your description it sounds like a special model for Big 5 for a few years, like 2010 - 2013, like a big honking comp screwed on a short little barrel.

Supposedly the previous owner added a bushnell 3-9x40 scope on leupold rings but not sure if he actually added itor it came with it.
