    22LR Target pistols

Don't know if anyone is looking for one, but saw two today. A S&W 41 long barrel with muzzle brake one mag no box $850. A Colt Woodsman match target one mag. $800. At Faith in Temecula. No affiliation, just a heads up for those looking. Both were in very good condition, and what I though were good prices.

I would go with the SW 41 , better trigger, can change barrels, mags. are more plentiful, and factory parts are available.

The S&W 41 was a late 60's early 70's A111X-X serial, I don't know the Colt Woodsman's that well. Slab side barrel both 95%+ with what I think were stock grips.

Well it looks like someone got the Colt, I could not believe that the Model 41 was still there. 1970 model, I could not resist....

I would like one without the muzzle brake.

It has the muzzle brake, but I have a muzzle cover to take the brake off.. It's still in jail..

Both are great pistols....I have a Pre-Woodsman as a plinker and a HS Supermatic Citation for serious target shooting.
THe Woodsman "Match Target", S&W 41 and HS Supermatic Citation are all excellent pistols, the Colt has no interchangable barrels. I still want a pre war BULLSEYE version of the Match target

If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

Just picked up a Colt Huntsman (3rd generation Woodsman) as well as an S&W Model 17 about 2 weeks ago, and I've been itching to try them out!
