I took my Heritage RR out yesterday and had a great time with it. Smacked steel at 25 yards with both 22lr and mags.
Lots of fun for sure..

I wish mine came with a .22 mag. cylinder.

The Single Nine is the .22 mag. version of the Single Ten.

I can't for the life of me understand why Ruger didn't make a 22lr cylinder for the Single Nine to make it a convertible. This is a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

My only convertible revolver is an old Colt "Peacemaker" 22---six shots only---beautifully made---I don't think they could make them at a price point they would sell at anymore... Reluctant to recommend pretty much anything made by Taurus...

It was my first single action cowboy style gun and caused me to start wanting/buying different uberti single actions in 45LC, and schofields. Been into that stuff ever since.

Cheap little gun caused an addiction.

I just got my 22wmr cylinder for my roughrider (2month wait) and took it out yesterday. The 22wmr is a firebreathing dragon. Lots of flame. Good times.

Ya 45 colt is short for long colt. Which are all basically cowboy loads. You can buy it all factory new.

I waited a while for my .22WMR cylinder too. While I was waiting, I bought a bolt action .22WMR Ruger American Rimfire. Both are a blast to shoot.

My old shooting buddy had a AMT in 22 mag that thing threw a huge ball of flame, was super loud with almost no recoil people at the indoor range would walk down to see what he was shooting.
