Ruger SR-22 Rifle Experience???

I recently purchased a Ruger SR-22 Rifle from Turners for $349 and I love it. Functions well and once sighted in is very accurate. The top, rear, Picatinny rail came loose after about 200 rounds so I removed one screw at a time and added Loc-Tite. I want to add a Picatinny Rail to the front handguard where it is pre-drilled and tapped to attach a Angled Foregrip. Do you know if the aftermarket Picatinny rails that are marked as a 3" rails are 3" long or have holes that are 3" apart? Is 3" spacing for the holes a standard?

If you have one of these fun rifles, what are your thoughts, opinions, feedback on it?

Since Turners had them on "Closeout" do you know if Ruger is discontinuing this model?

If you can add a photo of yours I would love to see what you can do this gun?

I had one, loved it. Awesome gun, never had issues with it.

Tips: Shave the barrel holder to free float it, put a soft buffer tube in it, add a Vortex scope and a KIDD trigger and you're go to go! Or just shoot the hell out of it!

Not sure on the rails but I'm sure just about anything will fit onto it.

He is talking about the Ruger SR22 rifle. Not the SR22 pistol. That is why the above folks talked about angled foregrips, free floating barrels and picatinny rails.

That handguard is kinda heavy. If were to do it over again I’d build one with a donor 10/22 and the Nordic kit so that it can be configured they way I would want it. Same issues as buying off the shelf AR.
