I have a Buckmark Practical URX. Having trouble with the trigger resetting. It is not the sight base screw. Gets worse as the gun gets a little dirty. Clean it, it works fine then after a few mags it randomly will not reset the trigger. Any ideas? Something I can fix myself with replacement parts or should it go to a gunsmith? Thanks for your help

Buckmark trigger problem

I had a similar problem, I thought it was the grips and such binding and such, my trigger just wouldn’t reset, then when I pointed it down and tried, it did reset.. long story short, I noticed the sear had a bit of play in it. Turns out the sear spring was not fully in the right spot, I just took a small flathead and pushed it over.. -

Be sure the disconnector spring under the grip is in the right way and not binding on the grip.
If the gun has been all the way apart, then most likely the sear spring is in backwards or one of the legs is in the wrong place.

I don't know if this fix your trigger reset problem or not ?
You also can check the sear spring , even you don't want to flip-around the spring.

Buckmark trigger problem
I tried some of the suggestions, checked the sear spring and pushed in one of the pins suggested in the video. No luck so dropped off at gun smith. He took a quick look and did not find a quick fix. He will do a complete disassemble. I'll let you know what he finds.Comment

Buckmark trigger problem
Trigger is fixed. Problem was created by changing the grips. Several months ago I had replaced the grips with Hogue grips. Even though they were made for my gun, they began to allow the disconnect too much free play. My gunsmith actually added a slight bend in the grips and said it should be fine. I hadn't suspected the grips as the gun worked fine running though lots of rounds before the trigger began to act up. One of the videos sent to me actually showed a problem with the disconnect pin which was moving but in my case the movement was created by the grips and not the pin itself. Hope this info is helpful.Comment
