Old style Buckmark. Started as a Silhouette version but that is illegal here in CA now (forward grip/shroud). So I picked up a 5.5" TrailLite barrel, compensator and top rail from Tactical Solutions, Hogue grips and a Burris FastFire 3 red dot.

Am considering changing the slide to the newer style and adding a charging handle since the internals are due to be replaced anyway.

Just curious, do you find that the front sight is useful for acquiring the red dot? I removed the front sight on mine and had trouble quickly getting on target with a 3moa vortex venom, I ended up switching the venom for a circle/dot holosun I had on a rifle which helped a lot.

I don't use the front sight at all, it just happens to come on the TrailLite barrel. The FF3 has a white vertical line on the back I use to reference my sight picture and that gets the dot visible pretty quickly.

I have a trail lite also, I removed the sight for aesthetics but wondered if it helped with red dot acquisition, I guess the answer is not.

I just picked up my first buckmark about two month ago and love it. Any grip recommendations though? I thought I would like the URX grips but I'm more indifferent about them after a couple thousand rounds.

Be careful when purchasing grips for your Buckmark. They are very model specific, and do not interchange between models very well. Also the grip screws are different from model to model. If you want to see what will fit and what won't check with the people at Midwest Gun Works. They will make sure you only buy what will fit your gun.

Midwest Gun Works specializes in quality gun parts, shooting accessories, firearms and firearm service for most major manufacturers including Browning, Winchester, FN America, Beretta, Benelli, Franchi, Stoeger, Remington, Bushmaster, Marlin, Sig Sauer, HK and many more. MGW has been an industry leader in gun parts, shooting accessories and gunsmithing since 1997.

You guys are killing me. I've got new gun money just burning a hole in my pocket. I can't get a ppc9 and I've been looking at these for awhile.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

1 month and no one posted pics???

                          this needs a major bump...

here's a pic of an allchin mount that i drilled and tapped for both the OPTIMA, FIREPOINT, JPOINT, and BURRIS FF3, as well...

here's a pic of the allchin w/ a cmore sight as inteneded to be used...

                          here's a pic of the allchin w/ a TASCO OPTIMA/JPOINT mounted...

                          here's a pic of the allchin w/ a BURRIS FF3 mounted...

no rocket science here, you just need to work w/ someone who can accurately locate/drill holes and tap them the correct thread pitch for the mounting screws.
                          hope this helps...

I had a chance to shoot my new Buckmark URX yesterday. I can see why you guys love these guns. I fed it 3 different kinds of bulk pack without a problem. The trigger is awesome, the grip and the weight are perfect.
Thanks to all of you for leading me down this path.
