The forearm is to ride shooting bag and attach a sling to it is pretty comfortable offhand pmaca makes a long nose chassis. Lots of options with 10/22. I shoot it more than anything else.
You may have a lot invested but look how many rounds you can shoot for very little money and how much fun it is. Accurate, low recoil, quiet, cheap to shoot, there is no downside. Enjoy!

The "Long nose" chassis I have has a cutout for the KIDD rear mounting tang. I didn't realize this when I ordered it. Ended up ordering the rear mount from KIDD & now that sucker is in there rock solid.

Does anyone have a 10/22 that has been modified to the point of retaining only the serialized receiver, with every other part being aftermarket?

Mine is exactly like this. Everything on it is Kidd. Stock is Tactical Solutions.

OP does Ruger rifle better than Ruger did their Ruger rifle.

No mention of group sizes (with ammo type)?

I see lots of old spent shell cases on the ground. Reminds me of Orosco Ridge Ramona when it was still open. Hope there aren't any old washing machine down range.

Is it built for shooting small groups or spraying lead? It doesn't look like it rides the rear bag very well.
