(Squirrel) Hunting Ammunition

My Rem 581 bolt action has been lights out on ground squirrels with Rem gb hp out to 100 yards... 150 yards I step up to CCI Velocitors,,, and they really thump hard at that range... I don't hunt tree squirrels,,,, just to tough in the pot.....

I dont shoot tree squirrels either. Nice little critters. Only shoot ground squirrels, since they are pests. The coyotes and vultures can clean up the carcass.

I like Aguila subsonics for NEPUT culling. (non-electrical pop up targets)
Bolt and lever 22's.
Puts their lights out well enough.
Just dope your elevation and the 100yd shots are stupid easy.
Did I mention they're cheap?
