    On Roster 22 Handgun

Looking for a 22 handgun for the kids. I have a CA M&P 22 full size (fell off roster) that my kids shoot (my little little's need my help holding). I'm want something smaller for their hands. Anyone have some recommendations?

    Kids ages:12,9,6,and 3.

Browning 1911-22. Love this .22. Very reliable.

Heritage is a good one. OP could get one for each kid for just a few dollars more than one Bear cat.

I like the Bearcat for kids because the SA makes reloading slower so they burn through less ammo.

I was going to suggest one of the Buck Marks, but I like how you think. That's a good choice for more reasons than just the one. Once it goes bang, it's safe, until it's cocked again.

I have a P22 and am happy with it. Wife has small hands, I have large. Fits us both well, though it fits her better.

Just shooting bulk .22 LR through it and so far two misfires out of maybe 300 rounds. Both rounds failed to fire in another 22 as well, so I suspect bad primers, not an issue with the P22.

I've read people say that they jam up on bulk ammo a lot, but so far, that's not my experience. I'm planning to shoot it some more tonight at the range!

I have dad two P22's. One came back to me after I sold it but in the mean time I bought another. Gave the spare to my adult son.
Both of us have had great luck with them so I have a hard time with all the haters...I guess I'm lucky or I just take care of my firearms.
That said, I also have a Browning 1911-22 Regal Black Label with aluminum frame. Also a very good small .22. I'd recommend either of the above.
You can pick up the P22 pretty cheap new.
Neither one is tack driving accurate for sure but they are fun.
