Plastic is a fad, just like computers.

    Thanks for sharing the photo.

            Correct...

Besides mine, I haven't seen another one in person.

I also have 2 nylon 66's one brown and one black.

I've heard for years that Remington made a nylon/plastic .22 rifle............Never seen one nor ever talk to anyone else that seen one??
gotta be a really rare rifle??
So if anybody asked if I've ever seen one.............at least I can tell them I've seen a picture of one!

Pretty rare rifle---advanced collector item for those who collect such things---I've owned (and still own) a couple of the semi-auto Nylon 66s---back when I was involved in the firearms business, the Nylon 66 was my "teaching rifle"---the first gun many folks used to learn how to shoot with and of course, safety when handling a firearm...
Remington made a number to low production Nylon rifles to try and cover the whole rimfire market---only the 66 really caught on...

Nice rifle you got there Kevin. I used to see these from time to time at big gun shows and nobody was interested in them as everyone wanted the 66...wish I would have picked one up.

I have all the Nylon 66 variants including the elusive green. I have owned the bolt action variants and levers as well they are all scarce some especially so.

I have never seem the smooth bore version in person. Nor the 22 short gallery, almost got one 17 years ago from a sale bulletin board at a range but seller was being an azz so I said forget it. I have also never seen the single shot versions in person.
