I stopped buying Remington 22 ammo back in the 70's. It would jam up any semi-auto I fed it through after about 100 rounds due to all the filth.

Bulk .22's always have scratches and dents on the bullets. That can't help accuracy.

True. Though that more of an issue shooting a rifle long range. Hitting targets at 15yrds with a 3.4" barrel pistol, dents shouldn't have as much of an effect?

No, that's a new Angel Blue colored frame from Walther. I bought it at City Arms a few weeks ago and had to break it in anyway, so I figured I'd do the ammo test video with it.

My general rule of wrist is that the cheaper the ammo the dirtier it is. Rem T-bolts are dirty, but not always cheap, so that kinda skews the rule.

Most of my 22's are grinders, so I shoot'em until failures add up and then I clean'em.
I just don't worry about the dirt. Only function.

Yes.
Also My old Marlin 60 and 10/22 have improved after new springs/ejectors.
My other .22s are revolvers
