Browning Buckmark Slides

I purchased a Buckmark UDX like the picture below. I tried to install a Tandemkross Halo on it and it doesn't fit. All it did was scratch the slide. I just purchased a slide like the other picture. I was hoping they are interchangeble.
Does anyone know? Thanks.

I believe there were a few different generations of the buck mark slide. The first one you showed should be the second generation, where they added the "bumps" at the rear to help with racking the slide. The second one you showed with larger serrations and the bump is the latest iteration. My buck mark has the latest Gen slide and the halo fits great.

yeah they are. you just need to take the extractor, the extractor spring and plunger from the old slide and put them in new one and you're good to go.
