I know there are a number of threads about this subject, but they are from 2012 and earlier. I would think with technology, research and marketing being what it is, many, if not all, have been replaced with better and in some instances, less expensive, but better quality ones than the older ones.
I won't be using my rifle for any varmint hunting or competition, just target shooting. I bought it about a month and a half ago at Turners when they had that great sale on them for $130 off I have yet to shoot it and will do so at the Zombie Shoot. I'm not sure if I'll have an optic by then as I have ammo and some paper targets to purchase. Since I'll have my son and 4 of my grandsons with me, I need a lot of both.
I would appreciate any input from those who have this rifle and an optic that has worked out for them or they can recommend. Some of the members in one old thread recommended getting a red dot rather than a scope, but I'm open to suggestions. I don't need a $300+ optic, but I don't want some crappy $20 either. Thanks in advance.
