Could you post a photo of the top of the compensator?

Hoping to pimp a Buckmark soon and I'm not keen on the TacSol compensator!

      Here you go: https://www.allchingunparts.com/coll...re-compensator

John Allchin is a good dude. He'll set you up right. Tactical Solutions sells their threaded barrels with Allchin comp already pinned. John has them in stock most of the time. The large ports makes it easier to clean out the lead and burnt-on fouling later.

S&J Customs makes one also, but compensator on a .22 is already a stretch, and I didn't want to spend $89 on one... Plus, you would either have to have Tactical Solutions install it for you, or another FFL who can order both parts and put them together. Kurt Grimes is a good source.

These are easier to modify than some Ruger offerings, where the upper is the serialized part. The serial number is on the frame of the buckmark, so aftermarket parts are plenty.

Thanks. Hope it shoots as well as it looks.

This is really a nice platform for .22. Great trigger and accuracy right out of the box.

Changed to Volquartsen hammer and sear spring. Reset is a bit shorter than factory, and less creep at take up.

The only upgrade I'm iffy on is the Victory trigger. I have medium sized hands and the trigger reach is just a bit too long with the flat trigger.
