I have a CMMG .22lr drop in conversion kit. I swear It's more reliable in my AR than both my 10/22's that I own(especially with the Aguila 60grn). But that is besides the point. I wanted to comment on my experience I just had with their customer service.
I knocked my conversion kit off my coffee table and it landed on the mouth part of the fake case that locks into the chamber. The mouth part slightly got deformed, but was enough to no longer chamber into the rifle. At this time I emailed CMMG and asked if they sold a replacement part, or had suggestions on how to make it round again. (I had considered trying to run it through a sizing die).
About 15min later I got a response asking for my contact information and shipping address.
Here's the kicker, 37min after I reached out to CMMG, they told me a replacement part was on its way to me. Free of charge.
It was my fault, and they supported me immediately. I wish all customer support experiences were like that. Kudos to them.
