22 MP5 Clones

A couple of years ago they had a couple versions for sale. On by GSG/ATI and another under license by HK if I recall. Are they still available anywhere?

My brother and I both bought the bag version. Both were crap. I shot mine to pieces within a few months.

Yes the HK licensed clones were discontinued but you can still find them on Gunbroker. You also might get lucky at a Big 5 as well.
I purchased two of them as well as the Uzi clone and they are fun, reliable little plinkers.

They are hard to come by for sure here in California.
Picked up the HK a few weeks ago from Wilde Built in San Diego if you're willing to drive down there twice.

CDNN Sports has them in stock and on sale just have a Middle Man transfer for you, like Audiophil...

Found a bunch on CDNN for sale, both the HK and the GSG. Also found some on Gunbroker that sell to California.

Wow, I had no idea that the Walther ones were discontinued. I just went to their site and they no longer have any rimfires.

That said, I'm super happy with mine. Can't recommend it enough.

The 10rd magazines for the HK mp5 are nearly impossible to find. GSG also made mp5 clones and there may be more 10 rds floating around, but the gsg/hk are not interchangeable.

IDK I used to shoot real MP5 in the marines..... Sorry, I don't understand why someone whould want a mp5 22lr(looks?). I'm a big fan of the rugar 10/22 for 22lr (basically what/how I learned how to shoot as a kid).

Sorry... I'm not trying to be an a-hole... but the 22lr version is laughable, I'm not even a fan of the MP5 (it was what we were given).

The HK 22's are actually a lot of fun, and PERFECT for training kids on rifles.
Some people like roller guns, some like bolts, its a preference thing.
But just for the sake of argument, Im an HK guy, and wasn't really impressed with the 22s until I started to shoot them. Fun as all get out, and ultra reliable...
5000 rounds in with the two I own and I don't think we have had a malfunction yet.

Just picked up a pre law suit GSG5. The quality of it is great, much better than my M&P 15 22. Rifles should not be plastic. Going to go shoot it for the first time tomorrow.
