X-22 Backpacker FDE w/ DeltaPoint Pro - Pics & Weight

Thought I'd post on this since its new to market and I didn't find much info when I researched before purchase.

Total Weight (as pictured w/ mounted optic): 4 lbs, 9oz

Configuration: deltapoint pro on top of leopolds picatinny mount on top of magpuls x-22 backpacker optic mount. Other minor upgrades, e.g. BX trigger, that are negligible to weight.

Base gun is 10/22 take down with black synthetic stock & stainless pencil barrel - model 11100, vintage 2014.

Original weight is listed at 4.6 lbs and the configured weight is basically identical, even with the few extra ounces from optic & optic mounts. I didn't weigh x-22 backpacker stock or other components alone before assembling, but my math says Magpul stock is actually a few ounces less than ruger black synthetic stock which is a pleasant surprise.

I had put in a back order for FDE version a couple months ago at cabelas; looks like FDE just reaching stores in past 1-2 weeks.

Looks good! I'm curious what the weight of my rm4 stock is going to be. Should be here Saturday. Got rid of my ar22 conversion because it turned it into 7.7lbs with all accessories.

Thanks. I had historically used photobucket and realized their new policy when loading these, so googled and found a free service that requires no login/account - cubeupload.com, which obviously doesn't adjust resolution, and I hadn't had time to do so myself until now.

there are a few good, free, no account sites out there like tinypic. they also help resizing pics.

i havent used cubeupload.com

thorium, the FDE looks good. If i didnt have so many 22lr rifles, I would probably be all over a takedown model, looks great!

His original size was massive. He has since correctly resized them.

I ended up ordering the bolt and charging handle, thank you for the link. My daughter's rifle is coming along nicely. I just finalized an order with Volquartsen for the shortened rail/mount for the CF barrel on the take down. I also got in the colors to mix for my daughter's stock. Hoping to have it ready for her to grow into!

wow that is pretty sweet OP. I don't have a 10/22, didnt even know that was a 10/22. but that definitely has the tacticoolness and super light weight to influence me.
